Jason is a person centered counselor who incorporates cognitive behavioral techniques and feminist theory approaches in his work. He believes that a genuine connection between clinician and client is essential to creating a trusting environment where positive change can occur. He encourages clients to
explore their strengths and identify their own path toward achieving goals, utilizing psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Jason works primarily with adolescents and adults to address issues related to sexuality and gender identity, depression, anxiety and self-esteem, and to navigate relationship issues and life transitions.
Jason received his undergraduate degree at Rowan University and his Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
