Mindfulness is an awareness of moment by moment thoughts, feelings, the environment around us and our sensations within us relative to our thoughts and feelings. It is an acceptance, with out judgement, that we are neither right or wrong in the way we think or feel in any given moment. When we practice being mindful, we become capable of focusing on our thoughts and feelings for the present instead of getting worked up over the past or future. This group
helps the members with practice and utilization of mindfulness for daily living.
Meet Your Counselor
Jason is completing his degree in Mental Health Counseling with honors at Capella University. His anticipated graduation date is December 2017. He has been an intern with O’Leary Counseling since January 2017, and currently works with adults and adolescents. He also co-facilitates groups for the practice.
